Essential Functions

Conceptualize, plan, design, produce and distribute multimedia content to support Omaha’s on-line, mobile and traditional communication platforms, with an emphasis on photography and graphic design and assistance with motion graphics and video content. Shoot events as the athletic department’s chief photographer and coordinate duties of the applicable game day support staff and student workers as needed.Strengthen the Omaha Athletics brand by serving as lead graphic designer for creative projects across social media, print advertisements, web, camps, recruiting and marketing materials.Contribute to ongoing editorial content calendars to assess and anticipate cross-department needs and coverage throughout the year.Manage, organize and maintain the digital content library and photo assets for Omavs.com. Create content that supports the demands of both internal and external communications and support partners.Provide support with photo and design initiatives for Baxter Arena as needed

Required Qualifications

Required Education – an associate’s degree in graphic design, photography, communications, journalism or a related field.
Required Experience – Should have at least 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven working knowledge of video/photo editing and graphic design software is required, including but not limited to Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere within Adobe Creative Suite.
