Essential Functions

The Executive Associate/Office Manager position is critical to the daily operations of the College of Information Science and Technology. This position performs highly responsible and confidential administrative work in the Office of the Dean. Coordinates Dean’s and Associate Dean’s calendar and travel. This candidate is responsible for the functions of providing constructive measures and appropriate solutions. Work includes public contact in interpreting and promoting departmental/institutional programs and rendering
administrative decisions. Develops and implements procedures for preparing, receiving and processing official documents, and drafts correspondence in accordance with requirements, policies, administrative regulations and administrative deadlines such as Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure, Faculty Development Leave Requests, College
Elections, and other high-level processes. Provides professional-level support to community partners and College of IS&T Advisory Board members. Supervises the day- to-day operations of Student Workers and IS&T departmental administrative staff in collaboration with the Unit Chairs.

Additional Duties
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
Five years relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in business related field
Prior experience in a University setting. Experience providing complex administrative support to senior or executive level management.

Salary $19.135 per hour, may be negotiable
